Mandalay Bay Casino Hotel is now the recipient of a major lawsuit stemming from the mass shooting in which 58 people were murdered and many hundreds injured. The lawsuits main focus is the poor security which enabled Steven Paddock to use his hotel room as a sniper’s nest in this disgusting act of mayhem. Other defendants being sued are Steven Paddock’s estate as well as Live Nation Entertainment Inc., the event organizer. Regardless of the outcome, there is no doubt the security procedures for Hotels in Vegas and elsewhere will see a significant change.
