The Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas has reported 7 cases of Legionnaires Disease which has been confirmed by the Southern Nevada Health District. For those of you not old enough to remember, Legionnaires Disease was first recognized in a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania hotel back in 1976. In that outbreak 29 people died out of 182 who contracted the disease at the American Legion Convention.
